Portal Detection and Notification

The artificial intelligence (AI) system, which plays a central role in the game's narrative, is responsible for identifying and tracking the occurrence of portals within the game's expansive virtual environment. These portals manifest unpredictably across various locations within the game world. The system subsequently sends notifications to Moonscouts, who are the players, regarding the locations of the portals. This triggers a time-sensitive competition to reach the portal and guarantee the secure transportation of the Sleepwalker.

To initiate portal detection and interaction, Moonscouts are required to launch their dedicated mobile application on their smartphones, which is equipped with advanced artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities. The purpose of this application is to augment the camera functionalities of the user's device in order to enable the detection of portals.

The Moonscouts are required to utilize their mobile devices as a sighting instrument, akin to a scope, in order to track and fixate on the ever-shifting and evasive portal. The successful execution of this task necessitates adeptness and meticulousness, as the operator must ensure that the portal remains centered within the reticle of their optical sighting device.

The challenge is augmented by the inclusion of a visual indicator, specifically a progress bar that encircles the scope. This progress bar only becomes filled when the portal is accurately tracked within the scope.
